Whether or not we are ready for it to be July (where has the year gone?!?!?). We welcome Plastic Free July with open arms! Having been in lockdown at home for the last few months it has given us a chance to really look at how we live and which direction we want the world to move in. Take the challenge this July!
For our Health and Beauty month we delve into the eco ways of fitness gurus and health in an increasingly unhealthy world. With the warmer months slowly drawing closer we look at how we can get off the couch from under that blanket and increase our fitness.
This month we want to highlight a social good company that we adore, and whose products we love and use daily. BECO is an eco friendly natural soap company that does good with every bar of soap produced.
Sometimes it can be challenging to hear about the state of the planet and it’s often even harder to read about it, but there are lots of environmental documentaries out there which make watching more manageable and focus on solutions rather than just the problems.
With Veganuary ending today we just want to say a massive congratulations to everyone who took part. Whether you’ve cut all meat and dairy out of your diet or just cut down, your actions are making a difference to the planet and to animals.
We completely understand if Veganuary just isn't for you, but that doesn't mean you have to be completely in, or completely out. We also support anyone who wants to reduce their meat and dairy consumption and move towards a plant-based or meat-free diet.
To celebrate the start of Veganuary we introduce our recipe book so far. These are all of our vegan recipes posted since we launched in July 2019, they have all been made and eaten (and enjoyed) by one of our E.C.O. team. We hope you can use these to help you to complete Veganuary, or just try new ways of cooking foods you already love.
On New Year’s day while you’re nursing your hangover or making well intentioned resolutions why not watch a documentary or two to get you motivated to make a change?
ere have been great discussions this year as people become more environmentally conscious around the Christmas tree tradition. What is better for the planet – artificial or real? Now that we all have our trees up and are counting down until Santa arrives, we wanted to show your our favourite eco trees this holiday season.
This article is exactly what it says on the tin, a quick guide on how you can wrap your Christmas presents plastic free and more sustainably!
