Join the Global Climate Strike

Global Climate Strike
Join millions of people in the streets to demand climate justice

On Friday 20th September there will be a worldwide Global Climate Strike taking place and during the week of 20-27th September 2,500 events will take place in 117 countries. Until now the strikes have been led by dedicated students sacrificing their studies but now it’s time for all generations to step up and get involved.

The strikes will bring together millions of people across the world all fighting for the same cause, to demand that our leaders prioritise the climate emergency and ensure they have an effective strategy to stay below the 1.5 degrees warming.

The strike takes place three days before the UN Climate Action Summit which will take place in New York. The march aims to bring the climate crisis to the forefront of the political agenda and to demand change which will (hopefully) be addressed at the summit and help influence decisions.

Now’s your chance to get involved and make a difference – sign up now! You don’t necessarily need to have the day off school or work (we don’t) but with this handy website you can find your nearest strike and pop out at lunch time! The website also shows marches for all of the following week if you can’t make it on Friday.

Once signed up to your local strike post about it on your social channels using #ClimateStrike and tell others about the strikes, get all of your friends and family involved. If you want to get more involved mobilise a group of friends/colleagues to join you at your local march.

Together we will be a force to be reckoned with. We look forward to seeing you there!
